The power of Mike Faist. He may have only had a supporting role as Charles Trask, but that man packed a punch with his performance. (Honestly, after watching, I was like, “I could fix him.”) Charles truly haunted the narrative. Mike Faist and Florence Pugh’s chemistry? Lightning-in-a-bottle stuff.
Look, most book purists wouldn’t define East of Eden as a romance, but they’re wrong. There are two love triangles here between brothers. It’s a ROMANCE! They’re all just messy, flawed romances.
The next great Disney show has arrived in the form of Coven Academy. The teen drama has all the makings of a hit — there’s romance, twists, and it’s campy. Get ready to pick sides when it comes to the main love triangle. Never underestimate Tim Federle’s power. He gave us Ricky and Gina in HSMTMTS after all!
P.S. A Different World has officially been renewed for Season 2! The Shaquille-Deborah-Ellington love triangle is only getting started. Shaquille, come back and get your girl!
